Chandigarh Marathon & Wellness 2026

Chandigarh Marathon & Wellness returns for its second edition on Sunday 11 October 2026, bringing competitive runners, families and walkers to the UNESCO-listed Capitol Complex in Sector 1. The start and finish are within Chandigarh's landmark Le Corbusier civic precinct. Organised by The Chandigarh Life (CHDLIFE) and Sogrow Ventures, the event builds on a 2025 debut attended by more than 1,400 people.

The 2026 programme includes a timed 21.1K half marathon, 10K and 5K, plus untimed 5K and 3K fun runs and a walkathon with a minimum distance of 1K. The registration platform additionally lists 1K Kids & Parent (ages 6–8) and 2K Kids & Parent (ages 9–12) categories. Each children's ticket includes one child and one accompanying parent or guardian. The organiser states an overall 05:00 IST race-day flag-off, with activities expected to continue until about 09:00. Children's races are expected after 07:00, but precise wave times have not been confirmed.

The theme, Run for a Sustainable Life, is supported by a pledge to plant a named plant for each participating runner, alongside zero-waste and recycling commitments. Runner entitlements include a dry-fit shirt, race bib, finisher medal, e-certificate, carry bag, refreshments, hydration support, race-day breakfast, event photography and access to a wellness area. Only the competitive distances are timed.

Most adult-category registrations closed at noon on 7 October, while Kids & Parent entries have a separate 9 October deadline at 23:59 IST. All race kits must be collected on Saturday 10 October from 10:00 to 18:00 IST at a Tricity venue that has not yet been specified. No bib collection is available on race morning. Participants should retain their booking confirmation; children's entries require proof of age at collection. The separate spectator ticket does not include a race bib.
