Bank Rakyat Johor Half Marathon 2026

Bank Rakyat Johor Half Marathon 2026 (BRJHM 2026) is a major road-running event in Iskandar Puteri, Johor, bringing together a competitive half marathon and accessible non-competitive 10K and 5K runs. The event is organised by JomRun with support from the Johor State Sports Council, Iskandar Puteri City Council and the Johor State Government. Bank Rakyat said in September that the race was targeting 5,000 participants and had already attracted more than 2,000 registrations, with local and international runners invited to take part.

Race day is Saturday 7 November 2026. JomRun lists the event start at 03:45 MYT. The programme comprises a 21.1K competitive half marathon plus non-competitive 10K and 5K fun runs. The half marathon has men's and women's competition for Malaysian and international runners aged 18-39, together with veteran categories for runners aged 40 and above. The organiser has announced total cash prizes of USD 15,400 across the competitive programme.

Participant entitlements are well documented. All three distances include an Ultron event jersey, finisher medal, e-certificate, personal accident insurance and light refreshments. The 21.1K runners also receive an Ultron finisher jersey and use a TrackAsia RFID timing-chip bib; the 5K and 10K are explicitly non-competitive and use bibs without timing chips.

Registration is through JomRun and is scheduled to close at 23:59 MYT on 6 November, unless available places fill earlier. A Bank Rakyat Sports Festival is planned for 5-6 November and will run alongside race-pack collection. The exact collection venue and collection times are still to be announced through Bank Rakyat and JomRun channels, so runners should check the official event page before travelling. The detailed route map is also still marked To Be Updated by JomRun, and the organiser currently specifies Iskandar Puteri rather than a more precise start and finish venue.
