Iskandar City Half Marathon 2027 Powered by JomRun - Johor

The Iskandar City Half Marathon 2027 Powered by JomRun returns to Iskandar Puteri, Johor, on Sunday 18 April 2027 for its fourth edition, following events held in 2023, 2025 and 2026. The organiser is returning to an early-morning running format after its 2026 night edition. The race village is at Persiaran Medini 5, in front of Sunway Big Box Retail Park.

Distances and race format

• 21.1K competitive half marathon: RFID chip-timed race using the organiser's TrackAsia timing system; finishers receive an additional Ultron finisher jersey.
• 10K fun run: non-chip-timed participation event with its own finisher medal.
• 5K fun run: non-chip-timed participation event with its own finisher medal.

The organiser lists 3:45 am Malaysian time as the event start time. Individual distance flag-off times, wave allocations, cut-offs, aid-station locations and definitive course maps should be checked against the final event itinerary; the route map is currently marked to be confirmed. The organiser notes that podium placings are based on gun time.

Johor Duo Challenge

Runners completing the 21.1K at both Johor Bahru City Half Marathon 2027 and this Iskandar City Half Marathon can qualify for a special Johor Duo Challenge medal. Eligible participants must collect the additional medal at the designated Johor Duo Challenge booth at the Iskandar City race site, where their results will be verified. This is a bonus challenge connected to two separate events, not an additional distance at Iskandar City.

Bib collection and planning

The official race-pack collection is scheduled for Saturday 17 April 2027, 11:00 am–6:00 pm at Sunway Big Box Retail Park. Participants should bring the identification and registration confirmation required by JomRun, and check the organiser's app for any updated instructions. The published online registration deadline is 11:59 pm MYT on 17 April 2027, subject to earlier sell-out. The JomRun page advertises super-early-bird tickets, but exact monetary entry fees could not be verified from the text listing and have intentionally not been invented.

Expected inclusions vary by category: event jersey, event-specific finisher medal, race bib, e-certificate and light refreshments; only the competitive half marathon lists an RFID timing chip and additional finisher jersey. Race photographs are expected through the organiser's iPix service, with the photo album typically uploaded 7–14 working days after race day. Read the organiser's latest race-day guide and registration terms before travelling.
