Event Detail
Johor Bahru City Half Marathon 2027 Powered by JomRun® returns on Sunday, 10 January 2027 for its fourth edition, with AEON Mall Bandar Dato' Onn serving as the event venue. JomRun describes Johor as the opening stop of its 2027 half-marathon programme, making this the organiser's first half-marathon event of the new year.
The current official programme offers three road-running distances: 5K, 10K and 21.1K Half Marathon. JomRun's live event listings currently show an overall event time of 03:45 MYT. The organiser has not yet published a final 2027 category-by-category flag-off schedule, route maps or course cut-offs in accessible current-edition material, so those details have not been inferred from older editions.
Registration is open through JomRun. The 2027 launch announcement confirms the date, all three distances and the Bandar Dato' Onn venue, while emphasising that this is the fourth year of the Johor Bahru City Half Marathon. Final race fees, entitlements, podium awards and race-kit collection arrangements are still being rolled out through the organiser's event channels; runners should use the live JomRun listing and app for those updates rather than relying on information from previous editions.
AEON Mall Bandar Dato' Onn is in northern Johor Bahru and provides a clearly identifiable race hub with established road access. The precise start mat and finish configuration have not yet been published, so ARC uses the mall location as the event reference point rather than claiming a surveyed start-line coordinate.
