Event Detail
LIMA Run 2026 is a Kuala Lumpur road-running event linked to the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA) and the lead-up to LIMA 2027. Organised by Global Exhibitions & Conferences Sdn Bhd, the run is intended to combine an accessible public fitness event with promotion of Malaysia’s states and Visit Malaysia 2027.
The event takes place on Sunday, 25 October 2026 at Dataran Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur on Jalan Raja Laut. The official programme runs from 6:00am to 10:00am, with the 5km and 7km categories scheduled to flag off at 7:30am. Both are presented as fun-run options rather than elite races, and the published rules require participants to be at least 16 years old and in good physical health.
Registration ran from 23 June to 6 October 2026 and is now closed. Early-bird fees were RM55 for 5km and RM65 for 7km; standard fees were RM69 and RM79 respectively. Entry includes an official event T-shirt and race bib. Finishers receive an event medal and digital certificate, and the organiser states that water stations will be provided on course.
Race-kit collection is split across two windows at Decathlon KLCC (Four Seasons): Friday, 23 October from 12:00pm to 5:00pm and Saturday, 24 October from 10:00am to 5:00pm. The event page’s entitlement section mentions only the Saturday window, so runners should follow the main registration details and check for any final organiser update before travelling.
Official route graphics are published for both distances, but the accessible event information does not state elevation, cut-off times, timing method, baggage arrangements, pacers or prizes. Participants should allow extra travel time around central Kuala Lumpur and follow race-official and medical instructions throughout the event.
