Event Detail
Kuching Half Marathon Heritage Run 2027 is scheduled for Sunday, 18 April 2027 in Kuching, Sarawak. The current-edition listing from the CheckPointSpot registration platform names Dewan Masyarakat Kuching on Jalan Padungan as the event venue. It is a separate race from the JomRun/Ultron Kuching Half Marathon scheduled for 10 January 2027, and from the Kuching Marathon later in the year.
What to expect
The event is advertised as a heritage-themed half marathon in Sarawak's capital. The name indicates a half-marathon programme, but the organiser has not yet published a complete 2027 distance and start-time schedule. The previous Kuching Half Marathon Heritage Run offered half-marathon, 10K and 5K distances; those previous-edition options should not be treated as confirmed for April 2027 until the organiser releases the new regulations.
The announced venue is in the Jalan Padungan area of central Kuching, useful for runners arranging accommodation and transport. Sarawak's capital has a well-known riverside and historic centre, but no official 2027 route map has yet been released, so the specific streets, landmarks, elevation and finish location remain unconfirmed.
Registration and runner information
CheckPointSpot currently marks the April 2027 event Coming Soon rather than accepting entries. Entry fees, category age limits, registration deadline, cut-off times, timing arrangements, race-pack collection, refreshments, medals, finisher shirts and prizes have not yet been published for this edition. Runners should check the registration platform for the full announcement before making travel or race-day arrangements.
Timing note: The calendar date is confirmed, but the stored 00:00 MYT time is a date-only placeholder, not an announced flag-off. The mapped point represents the nearby Kuching South City Council/MBKS precinct rather than a surveyed start line.
