Bendang Run Kepala Batas 2026

Bendang Run 2026 invites runners and walkers to experience the rural paddy-field landscape around MARDI Kepala Batas in mainland Penang. The event is part of Karnival Generasi MADANI Parlimen Kepala Batas, under the theme Langkah Untuk Generasi Madani (Steps for the MADANI Generation), bringing a relaxed community-running atmosphere to the area's agricultural setting.

Event experience

The organiser advertises a 5K fun run, with a 7:30 am Malaysia-time flag-off on Sunday 6 December. Families and friends are encouraged to take part together. Additional carnival activities are advertised after the run. The course is centred on MARDI Kepala Batas; runners should check the organiser's current route graphic and any final access or parking instructions before travelling.

Planning and entry

The registration platform advertises RM39 per runner, with entries scheduled to close on 15 November 2026, or earlier if capacity is exhausted. Race-kit collection is advertised for Saturday 5 December at MARDI Kepala Batas; the registration site currently states 08:30–23:00 MYT, so entrants should reconfirm the unusual late finishing time with the organiser. The event page also includes the route map, T-shirt design, medal and lucky-draw information. No competitive chip-timing, ranked results or cash awards have been established in the official information, so entrants should treat the event as a recreational fun run.
