Wings of H.O.P.E Cancer Fundraising Run 2026

Wings of H.O.P.E. Cancer Fundraising Run 2026 is a community 5 km fundraising event organised by INTI International College Penang, with support from its Pre-U Society and Rotaract Club. The event supports Mount Miriam Cancer Hospital and raises awareness of cancer and the importance of helping people facing treatment costs. H.O.P.E. stands for Helping Others, Pursuing Empathy. Students, families, staff and other supporters are welcome.

The race is scheduled for Saturday 14 November 2026 at INTI International College Penang in Bukit Jambul. Official artwork names Bukit Kukus Highway as the running route. No detailed elevation profile or final road-closure plan has been published. The event is presented as a friendly charity run rather than a certified competitive road race.

The programme includes registration and kit collection from 5:00am to 6:00am, an opening ceremony from 6:00am and running from approximately 6:30am to 8:00am. A separate official banner advertises a 7:30am flag-off, however, so runners should verify the final start time with the organiser. Performances and booths follow, with a closing ceremony and further activities through approximately 11:00am.

Entry is RM55 for public adults and RM45 for INTI and USM students or staff, and for public participants aged 18 or younger. The organiser advertises an event T-shirt, finisher medal and refreshments, as well as lucky-draw activities. A current flyer also promotes free health-screening services from Loh Guan Lye Specialist Centre. The updated registration listing and organiser's 9 October announcement indicate an 11 October closing date, although older material says 4 October.
