STAKAN National Day Night Run 2026 - Kota Samarahan

RESCHEDULED EVENT NOTICE (checked 26 October 2026): The current JomRun registration listing explicitly advertises Saturday 7 November 2026 at 7:00 pm Malaysia time for the STAKAN National Day Night Run. The event was previously advertised for earlier dates, including October, and the organiser's booking page identifies 7 November as the postponed date. Do not rely on old posters, cached calendar dates or past registration deadlines. The current organiser listing should be checked again immediately before travelling.

Night-run programme

The advertised courses are 3 km and 5 km fun runs at UniCentral Commercial Park, Kota Samarahan, Sarawak, in front of Topmart Supermarket, close to the Kuching–Kota Samarahan expressway. This is an evening community event rather than a chip-timed road race. The overall advertised start is 7:00 pm MYT. The publicly accessible event page does not establish a separate verified flag-off time for each distance, nor does it clearly publish final course safety instructions or cut-off times. Participants should follow the latest JomRun notices for meeting points, road access and any subsequent weather-related changes.

Kit collection and entries

JomRun's updated event information schedules race-pack collection for Saturday 7 November, 11:00 am to 5:00 pm MYT, at the same UniCentral Commercial Park venue near Topmart Supermarket, before the evening race. Check the latest collection confirmation before arriving. The current listing gives a registration deadline of 11:59 pm MYT on Friday 6 November 2026, subject to any sell-out or subsequent organiser change. Advertised ticket prices vary by booking tier and the live active amount was not verifiable from the public event text, so no guessed fee is given here.

Participant entitlements

The organiser's published list includes an Ultron event jersey, a finisher medal for finishers only, a non-timing-chip race bib, an e-certificate and light refreshments. Runners should confirm any age restrictions, gear requirements and collection rules directly with the booking platform.
