Event Detail

The 2026 Taipei Uniform Invoice Cup Run brings as many as 12,000 runners to Taiwan's capital on Sunday 8 November. Organised by Taiwan's Ministry of Finance, this event brings together competitive road running, a family-friendly recreational run and charitable invoice donations.

Course and race morning

The 21K half marathon starts at 5:30 am from Ketagalan Boulevard in front of Taipei's Presidential Office Building. The 10K challenge sets off from the same location at 5:50 am. Both use part of the elevated Xinsheng Road corridor on the way to Dajia Riverside Park. The separate 3K recreation run starts at 7:40 am at Dajia Riverside Park and finishes there. These are local Taiwan times (UTC+8).

The half marathon has a 3-hour-30-minute limit and is for entrants aged 18 or older. The 10K has a 100-minute limit and is open to ages eight and above, with guardian consent for minors. The 3K has a one-hour time limit and caters to families and new runners. Entries are capped at 3,000 for each competitive distance and 6,000 for the 3K.

What to expect

The main event village at Dajia Riverside Park will host stage performances, a lucky draw, charity activities and information stands promoting Taiwan's cloud-invoice system. Finishers can claim category-specific items by presenting their race bib. The half marathon includes a dedicated finisher medal; refreshments, a bag, towel and electronic certificates are among the advertised gifts, varying by category.

Registration and planning

21K and 10K registration is closed: the organiser’s official competitive-entry portal now shows registration closed. The 3K's 5,000 online places are also fully allocated according to its official entry portal, despite the originally advertised 31 October online deadline. Crucially, the separate 1,000-place race-day 3K allocation remains advertised: individuals may seek an on-site place at Dajia Riverside Park, 06:00–07:30 on Sunday 8 November, subject to availability. Online-registered 3K participants also check in there during 06:00–07:30, bringing original identification (passport or residence card for overseas participants). Each 3K entrant must donate three eligible, as-yet-undrawn 2026 Taiwanese receipts, each for a purchase of at least NT$10 and without a buyer's business tax number. On-site entrants receive their bib and lucky-draw ticket at registration. The 3K begins at 07:40, and access to the start closes at 07:50. See the official 3K registration rules and competitive race registration status.

Runners in the 21K and 10K need to account for a different start and finish. Plan your travel and belongings accordingly, and check the organiser's final race handbook, route and traffic notices before setting off.
