Event Detail

AIA One Billion Trail 2026 by TMS brings an established Thai trail-running community to Hua Hin on Saturday 21 November. This edition combines a mountain-running challenge with a festival atmosphere at the coastal destination in Prachuap Khiri Khan. It is part of the Trail Masters Series, with AIA promoting participation as part of its healthier-living initiative.

Course and race experience

The race offers a progression from an accessible fun run to a demanding 50 km trail ultra. The published routes are approximately 5.01 km, 10.19 km, 15.23 km, 29.88 km and 50.60 km, with forest and mountain trails rather than a flat road course. The long course has significant climbing, so runners choosing the ultra should prepare for variable footing, changes of gradient, heat and humidity. The organiser also offers team-of-four registration for the 15 km, 30 km and 50 km distances. Entrants should check the specific team rules rather than assume relay format.

The published start waves on 21 November are 05:00 for 50 km, 05:30 for 30 km, 06:15 for 15 km, 06:45 for 10 km, and 07:15 for the fun run, all Thailand time. These times should be reconfirmed in the final participant instructions.

Planning the day

The venue listed by the race calendar is Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin, Wang Klai Kangwon Campus, in Hua Hin. The university campus map pin is an approximate venue reference, not a confirmed starting arch or parking entrance. Travelling runners should consult the organiser's final directions before arranging transport. The event entry information describes timing chips, hydration and nutrition stations, medical assistance, race shirts and finisher medals; check entitlements for the individual distance when collecting the race pack.

The finish-day programme also incorporates an outdoor festival and live music. AIA has announced JoeyBoy, MEAN Band and Tak Su Hai among the performers. Individual entry prices displayed on the official registration site range from THB 1,200 for the fun run to THB 3,700 for the 50 km; separate team rates and qualifying AIA Vitality+ discounts are shown during checkout. Entry availability is subject to the organiser's live registration system.

This is a trail event, so choose a distance that suits your off-road experience, check mandatory equipment and cut-offs if supplied in your race instructions, and carry adequate water for the conditions. Confirm registration, race-kit collection details and final course information through the official race website before travelling.
