The inaugural Whale Run @ Wareepirom invites runners to Ruen Pae Fishing Park in Nong Chok for a lake-side charity race organised by Suan Waree Phirom Running Club. Part of the proceeds will contribute to a learning room for Wat Sap Samosorn School. Both the 10K and 3K start and finish at the fishing park, where organisers have mapped toilets, parking, water stations and first aid.
Race-day timetable (local time): Check-in from 4:30 am, warm-up at 5:30 am, opening ceremony at 6:09 am, 10K start at 6:29 am and 3K start at 6:45 am. Awards begin at 7:30 am, followed by a prize draw and live concert at 8:29 am. The venue closes at 10 am.
The 10K uses chip timing and male/female age divisions, while the 3K is untimed and welcoming to families and newcomers. There is a three-person family 3K entry as well as regular, VIP and VVIP packages. Bibs cannot be transferred.
