Event Detail
Kanchanaburi Mountain Trail 2026 takes runners into Khao Laem National Park in Sangkhla Buri, Kanchanaburi province, Thailand, on Sunday, 31 January 2027. The organiser's event title retains 2026 even though the actual race day is in January 2027. The starting point is at the national park, near the mountains and reservoir of western Thailand.
Three mountain-trail challenges
The organiser has released current-edition course maps for three trail distances:
- KMT 50: approximately 49.35 km, starting 04:00, with a 13-hour cut-off. The official fee graphic records about 2,900 m of climbing.
- KMT 36: approximately 36.41 km, starting 04:30, with a 10-hour cut-off and about 2,300 m of climbing.
- KMT 10: approximately 9.75 km, starting 06:00, with a 5-hour cut-off and about 350 m of climbing.
All times are Thailand local time (UTC+7) on 31 January 2027. The published trail maps mark out-and-back sections, aid stations and substantial elevation changes. The mid-distance 36 km course is described here because ARC currently has no matching 36 km distance filter; it remains a full race option on the registration page.
Entries and runner requirements
The official registration platform lists promotional, super-early-bird, early-bird and regular price bands. The regular listed prices are THB 2,800 (KMT 50), THB 2,100 (KMT 36) and THB 1,000 (KMT 10). Cheaper limited-allocation tiers are also advertised; check which allocations are still on sale rather than assuming a historic promotion is available.
Participants must follow marked trails, wear their own visible bib, protect the natural environment and report any withdrawal at an aid or service station. The registration rules specify a minimum entrant age of 18, personal bib collection with photo ID, and no race-day bib collection. Longer-distance entrants should carefully check the organiser's published qualification and medical-document requirements before paying.
The race organiser reserves the right to change routes or arrangements for safety. Allow time to travel to the national park rather than assuming the starting point is in Kanchanaburi city. Review the official entry page and current route graphics for final requirements, equipment, available tickets and any schedule changes.
