Event Detail
Ultra Trail Pha Hob 2026 takes runners into the forested hills around Pha Hob Recreation Forest in Mae Mo District, Lampang, northern Thailand, on Sunday 8 November 2026. Organised by the Lanna Trail Team, the event has three mountain-trail divisions based at Pha Hob in Ban Mae Kiang. The organisers say their team has previously held three activities in the area and hopes to develop the venue as a longer-distance trail destination.
Race distances and start times
The flagship UTPH50 starts at 05:00 and is marketed as a 50 km event, although the published course measures 46.71 km. Its route graphic gives approximately 1,302 m of ascent, an overall 14-hour cut-off finishing at 19:00, and shows aid/checkpoint locations along the course. The UTPH35 starts at 06:00, with a measured distance of 35.96 km; the UTPH15 starts at 06:30 and covers 16.78 km. Those precise measurements matter when deciding which race to enter; the numbers in the category names are rounded labels, not the measured GPS distances. The longer event is identified as an ITRA-recognised trail course on organiser materials.
Entry and race-day logistics
The published standard entry prices are THB 2,900 for UTPH50, THB 1,900 for UTPH35 and THB 1,200 for UTPH15. The organiser's registration platform currently marks its listed early-bird windows as closed, so runners should check directly whether any standard places remain rather than assume entries are available. The race advertises category-specific finisher shirts made with Cubic Air performance fabric.
Race-kit collection is at Pha Hob Recreation Forest, Ban Mae Kiang, on Saturday 7 November from 10:00 to 19:00, with a limited race-morning option 1½–2 hours before the relevant start. The published GPS point is 18.227115, 99.688361. Check the official course materials, mandatory kit guidance and organiser updates before travelling; these are trail routes, not a road marathon.
