The COROS VERTIX 2S is a rugged multisport GPS watch designed for ultrarunning, mountain training and long outdoor adventures. Its all-satellite, dual-frequency positioning system is intended to improve tracking in difficult environments such as steep valleys and dense terrain, while preloaded global landscape maps and downloadable topographic maps support offline route navigation, turn-by-turn guidance, checkpoints and deviation alerts.
A 1.4-inch always-on touchscreen uses sapphire glass, paired with a PVD-coated grade 5 titanium bezel. COROS rates the watch to 10 ATM and for operation from -30°C to 50°C. The manufacturer specifies up to 36 days of regular use and 118 hours in standard full-GPS mode; navigation, music, backlight and satellite settings can reduce those figures.
The latest-generation optical sensor supports heart-rate, sleep, HRV and wellness tracking, while COROS training tools cover structured workouts, recovery and performance analysis.
