Why consider it
The GRID 1.0 is a compact self-massage tool that adds a different function to a running kit already containing resistance bands. TriggerPoint lists it at 13 inches long and 5.5 inches in diameter, approximately 33 by 14cm. Its hollow core is covered with EVA foam, and the surface combines flatter areas, ridges and raised nodes.
The brand describes the surface as water- and sweat-resistant and specifies cleaning with mild soap and water. Those practical details make it a sensible product to compare for home use after sweaty training sessions. A Singapore retailer, Key Power Sports, also lists this exact model.
Where it fits
Consider the GRID 1.0 if you want a reusable roller for a simple home routine and prefer a structured surface to a smooth foam cylinder. The compact length is easier to store than a full-length roller. It can also be considered for travel when luggage space allows, although it is still bulkier than a massage ball.
The main buying decision is whether you like the feel and format. A textured roller can feel different from a soft, smooth one, so try one in a gym or shop before purchasing if you can. Do not choose it on an expectation of guaranteed faster race recovery or injury prevention.
Model and variant checks
Keep colours together in this one model entry. The manufacturer offers several colours; the featured photo is a representative GRID 1.0 colourway, not a separate product.
Check that the listing says GRID 1.0 rather than GRID X, GRID 2.0, GRID Travel or GRID STK. These names refer to different firmnesses, lengths or formats. Comparing a much smaller travel roller with this model on price alone can be misleading.
The official manufacturer's current page and some regional retailers show different load-limit figures. This entry deliberately omits a load rating: check the specification supplied with the exact item you buy.
Buying in Asia
Key Power Sports Singapore provides a regional product page. For marketplace purchases, compare brand markings, dimensions and packaging, and confirm the seller's return policy. A generic orange or black textured roller should not be assumed to be a genuine TriggerPoint product.
