Diadora Equipe Corsa 3 is a lightweight neutral road-running shoe intended for faster training sessions and races. Its design references the brand's early running heritage while using a modern DD Anima midsole and a spring Pebax shank for a responsive feel. Diadora lists a semi-transparent nylon air-mesh upper with microfibre PU components, plus a removable printed-EVA footbed. The outsole combines softer rubber in the forefoot with Duratech 5000 wear-resistant rubber at the heel.
The manufacturer's specifications give a reference weight of 210 g in UK size 8 and a 10 mm heel-to-toe drop. This low-weight construction may appeal to runners who want a less bulky alternative for quicker road efforts. It is not positioned as a deeply cushioned recovery trainer, and the neutral design does not provide the guidance of a dedicated stability shoe. Its Pebax shank should not be confused with a full-length carbon racing plate.
Fit and ride will depend on foot shape, preferred cushioning and pace. Consult the Diadora size guide, check returns and compare the shoe with your usual training model before buying. Official US price checked 21 October 2026: US$160 per pair, subject to changes and local availability.
