The Craft Nordlite Ultra Pro is a gravel-oriented running shoe for athletes who regularly move between paved roads, compacted paths and smoother trails. It is intended for fast training and mixed-surface racing, with a responsive feel and more versatile traction than a road-only shoe.
Craft uses a Cr Foam Pro midsole containing 25% PEBA for lightweight cushioning and rebound. The Vittoria-developed outsole has a V-shaped tread pattern intended to grip varied firm surfaces. A two-layer TPU mesh upper aims to balance breathability with protection against grit, while a reinforced midfoot, gusseted padded tongue and stable heel construction support foot hold. The stated heel-to-toe drop is 6 mm, with manufacturer stack figures of 40.5 mm at the heel and 34.5 mm at the forefoot including the insole.
This is not necessarily the best choice for deep mud, very rocky technical trails or runners who prefer a minimalist shoe. Craft recommends choosing one full size larger than usual for this model, so checking its fit guidance is particularly important.
