WSE 10KM OPEN Wuhan 2026

The WSE 10KM OPEN arrives in Wuhan on Saturday 28 November 2026, bringing a morning of road running to the scenic Qingshan waterfront beside the Yangtze River. This stop of the WSE race series offers competitive running alongside shorter family-friendly distances, with the riverfront setting providing a memorable backdrop for participants and spectators.

Four race divisions are scheduled. The 10K elite category uses staggered starts between 7:00 and 9:00 am, followed by 5K elite waves between 9:00 and 10:00 am. A 5K parent-child competition runs in waves from 9:30 to 10:30 am, and the 3K parent-child division from 10:00 to 11:00 am. These times are start windows: the organiser has not specified each individual's precise flag-off time. Entrants should check their assigned wave and assembly instructions before race day.

For the family divisions, one adult and one child must enter and run together. The 5K family event accepts children born between 1 January 2018 and 1 January 2022; the 3K family event accepts children born between 1 January 2018 and 1 January 2023. Elite divisions have their own date-of-birth eligibility rules, which are provided on the registration page.

Entries are handled on a first-come, first-served basis and may close earlier if the category fills. Race-pack collection arrangements, exact courses and entrant benefits should be confirmed with the organiser before travelling. Times shown are China Standard Time.
