Muallim Half Marathon 2026

Muallim Half Marathon returns for its second edition at UPSI Sports Arena in Proton City, Tanjong Malim. The event builds on the inaugural 2025 race, which attracted about 1,800 runners from Malaysia and overseas, including participants from across Southeast Asia and further afield.

The 2026 programme again offers a half marathon alongside 10K racing and a 5K fun run. The organiser describes the route as running through the scenic roads of Muallim, with greenery and views towards the Banjaran Titiwangsa forming part of the race setting. The UPSI Arena is the university's principal sports complex on the Sultan Azlan Shah campus in Proton City.

The overall event programme begins at 4:00 am. The 10K and 21K divisions include men's and women's Open and Veteran categories, while international Open categories are offered for the half marathon. The 5K is an open fun-run category. The registration platform also supports a Double Challenge option for participants registering for more than one category under the same NRIC or passport.

The organiser has published participant entitlements and race-kit collection arrangements for 18 and 19 December. Distance-specific flag-off times, cut-offs, detailed route information and prizes are not yet published in the accessible current-edition material, so runners should check the organiser's updates closer to race day.
