Kapok Flower Half Marathon Tainan 2027 - 2nd Edition

The second Kapok Flower Half Marathon (2027第二屆木棉花半程馬拉松) is scheduled for Saturday 13 March 2027 in Baihe District, Tainan, Taiwan. The route celebrates Linchupi Kapok Flower Road, where red blossoms frame roads through farmland and waterways. The organiser also promotes the Jiangjunpi waterside and Little South Sea ecological area, making this a memorable spring countryside race for visitors and local runners alike.

Registration and runner information

Package status checked 2 November 2026: the official notice says economy packages are full. The separate deluxe package remains advertised on the organiser's event page, with its official registration entrance active. This is not a guarantee of inventory at payment; confirm your distance and package in the official system. The fees below refer to the advertised deluxe package, not the sold-out economy option.

The listed fees are TWD 1,100 for 21K, TWD 900 for 11K and TWD 700 for either 5K option. A refundable TWD 100 timing-chip deposit and mailing/processing charges may apply, separate from the advertised prices. Verify the total and whether places remain directly in the official 2027 registration page. The official page's generic registration-period field currently displays an erroneous 2099 placeholder, so do not rely on it for a closing date; check the current checkout and organiser notices instead.

For the 21K race the organiser states a minimum age of 15. Entrants under 18 must provide parental consent, and participants aged below six in the shorter categories must have an accompanying adult aged at least 20. Race numbers, chips and event shirts are mailed approximately one to two weeks before the event; no same-day registration is advertised. Finishers are offered a medal and additional memorabilia, with the final pack dependent on the selected category.
